Presentations and Workshops

The End of Hierarchy: Are you Ready? was co-presented with Lisa Negstad highlighting the differences between traditional organizations and networks. It also included key strategies for working effectively within networks.

Network Mapping: Visualize and Strategize about your Connections was co-facilitated with Michael Bischoff and Kristin Johnstad. In this workshop, attendees mapped their own network and discussed how to use their maps to increase their effectiveness.

Building the Alliance – A Regional Network Weaving Workshop was co-facilitated with Kristin Johnstad at the Alliance for Healthy Homes and Communities’ 2014 Convening. This workshop highlighted why the Alliance was choosing a network model. A facilitated game helped more than 100 attendees identify valuable resources available in the network and connect them to other Alliance members seeking those resources.

Publications

Green Resident Education: A Case Study walks through a project engaging residents in green living. As the work unfolded, the team realized we needed to shift the focus to implementation of green operations and management. The case study describes this shift and the collaborative process I facilitated with the owner and management company. A supporting document for this Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership project is the Green Resident Education: A Best Practices Review.

Choosing a Healthy Home, 12 Lessons Learned summaries, demonstration project profiles, and website content for the Minnesota Green Communities initiative, 2005-2014. Program coordinator responsibilities included drafting and overseeing content development and collaborating on design for program materials.

Content oversight and expert content review for the Green Remodeling Plan Book, as well as organization and accessibility of the content, 2011, funded by the Roseville HRA and Family Housing Fund.
